Evette Beckett-Tuggle

Evette Beckett-Tuggle is an author, Certified Master Coach, and voiceover professional committed to inspiring others to be their best selves, mind, body, and spirit.

She is CEO and Managing Principal of The Agilant Group, LLC, specializing in life coaching, leadership training, and facilitation. Evette is the author of The Heartfelt Voice: A Writing Guide for Women to Affirm, Encourage, and Empower, and is a contributing author to Coaching Perspectives IV and The Women We Watched: A Celebration of Mothers by the Sons and Daughters They Nurtured.

Beckett-Tuggle previously served as a peer advisory group Chair with Vistage, the global leader in private advisory boards for CEOs, executives, and business owners. Prior to establishing her executive coaching practice, Evette served in senior-level positions in the non-profit, public, and private sectors which include President and Chief Executive Officer of Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council, Chief Marketing Officer for Global Music Network and Essence Magazine, and Vice President of Global Marketing for Citibank.

With a corporate career and passion for service to women and others, Beckett-Tuggle has held numerous community leadership positions in New York and in Charlotte. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, The Links, Incorporated, and the Carolina Women’s Club further exemplifying her interest in empowering women towards excellence. She is an advocate of the arts and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.

Evette holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in English and Drama from Tufts University. A native of Long Island, New York, she resides in the Carolinas with her husband Reggie Tuggle.
